- A high-speed broadband connection will be required to play End of Nations®.
- QWill End of Nations® be available in different languages?
- End of Nations® will be available in several languages at launch, including English, French, and German. Other languages may be added in the future.
- QWho is Trion Worlds?
- Trion Worlds, Inc. is the creator of the hit massively multiplayer online game RIFT® and publisher of End of Nations®. Trion team members have developed and shipped more than 100 original titles and are currently developing Defiance™, an upcoming game and television show set to air on Syfy.

Free-To-Play FAQ
- QHow much does End of Nations® cost to play?
- End of Nations® is a free-to-play (F2P) game. We wanted to make it accessible to the most gamers everywhere, but it will NEVER be pay to win.
- QIf it’s free, is it high quality?
- Yes. End of Nations® is a game 5 years in development from the people who invented the real-time strategy genre.
- QHow is Trion going to make money on End of Nations®?
- End of Nations® will offer an in-game shop for users to purchase cosmetic and convenience items, as well as subscriptions for frequent shoppers.
- QWill paying give me an advantage in End of Nations®?
- No. We wanted a level playing field. Therefore, it will not be possible for players to buy their way to success. Additional items can be purchased with both in-game earned currency (End of Nations® Wealth) and purchased currency (Trion Credits), but the game is not, and will never be “pay-to-win”.
- QWill I need to give you a credit card number to play?
- A credit card is not required to register and play End of Nations®. You will, however, be able to purchase items from the in-game store using a credit card and other forms of payment.
- QWhat does a free player get?
- All players will get the same access. This includes the “Conquer the World” metagame, the huge 56-player head-to-head multiplayer, as well as units, and abilities… everything.
- QWill there be restrictions on free players?
- No, free players will not be level-capped or restricted, and will have an equal chance to earn everything purchasable in the store.
- QWhat extras will subscribers get?
- While End of Nations® can be enjoyed entirely without a subscription, those who do subscribe will get significant value and convenience extras for their monthly fee. More details coming soon.
- QWill there be a retail box? Will there be a collector’s edition?
- There will be both digital and physical versions of End of Nations®, including a collector’s edition filled with extras! Stay tuned for more details.
